Mission Statement

We are a people who tell stories in one form or another.
After all isn't blogging just another way to gather around and tell those stories?

Motherhood is Painless is about finding the humor in the every day. In finding the happiness in those stories that we tell. What would happen if we *all* learned to laugh at ourselves? Maybe then the dark corners would recede a bit and we would all rejoice at the love we find there.

This one might be a challege - I smashed my left index finger in the car door after Daisy Scouts today. In the rubber gasket that runs around the door, so things aren't as bad as they *could* be, but pretty painful never the less.

I have a bit to say these days - things percolating in the back of my brain, but for tonight. I'm going to rest my finger, figure out how to wash the dishes (oh, husband?) and watch some of the stuff in my Hulu queue.

I was going to work on a crafty project, but I can't. Need 10 fingers for that one.
