Mission Statement

We are a people who tell stories in one form or another.
After all isn't blogging just another way to gather around and tell those stories?

Motherhood is Painless is about finding the humor in the every day. In finding the happiness in those stories that we tell. What would happen if we *all* learned to laugh at ourselves? Maybe then the dark corners would recede a bit and we would all rejoice at the love we find there.

Back to School

It all started yesterday.

We took the boy to his first day of preschool.
He cried. Loudly. Then, the teacher said, he had fun.

Today was the same thing, we dropped him off, Claire and I, and he cried, but when we picked him up, he told us "I had so much fun!"

And, he informed Miss M., that he wasn't going to cry tomorrow.

I hope he doesn't cry!

School starts back up for us tomorrow. Aiden only goes for an hour tomorrow and Friday and we stay with him. He goes for 1.5 hours on Monday alone and then Tuesday he will go for the full time alone - we shall see guess tomorrow and Friday will be no real test lol

So, did he hold to the promise today/Friday? Hope so.

It is kinda funny. I feel like E has been moving in the opposite direction. With camp she forgot me as soon as she arrived. She has been a bit more tentative with school. No crying, but actually paying attention when I leave. *laugh*
